A collection of meditative sound scapes loosely based on the events and tragedy's of 2020. Drones, ostinatos ,with many woodwinds. Some pieces may be a bit disturbing, although the collection ends happily.

David Pate was born in 1954 and raised in Clearwater Florida, during the 1960's.Influenced by that period's icons:Hendrix, Coltrane, Sam Rivers, Zappa, Evan Parker, Ian Anderson and Terry Riley, Pate's solo improvised performances are a strange eclectic mix.He utilizes extended sax techniques: multiphonics, circular breathing, controlled overtones, ostinatos, and maybe a couple of blues licks. ... more
